Mukesh Ambani of Mumbai is the head of petrochemicals giant Reliance Industries. His net worth is about $43 billion these days. He is also the future owner of the world’s first billion-dollar home—a 27-story custom skyscraper more akin to a hotel than a traditional a house.

The home doesn’t actually begin till after six stories of parking space to house the cars of the Ambani family and the home’s employees. The exterior is lined with hanging gardens featuring hydroponic plants absorb heat and contribute to the home’s energy efficiency.
